That appears in two places in [https://searchfox.org /mozilla- esr68/search?q=NS_ERROR_UNEXPECTED&path=toolkit%2Fmozapps%2Fupdate%2F UpdateService.jsm], but I don't see the associated `Downloader:onProgress` log entries. I don't see this. Testing from a clean 9.5a13 this (i.e. incremental updates) works fine for me. > I'm not sure if this is related to #34315. I don't think this can be the case for the error you gave: {{{ *** AUS:SVC Downloader:onStartRequest - original URI spec: https://cdn.torproject.org/aus1/torbrowser/10.0a1/tor-browser- linux64-9.5a13-10.0a1_en-US.incremental.mar, final URI spec: https://cdn.torproject.org/aus1/torbrowser/10.0a1/tor-browser- linux64-9.5a13-10.0a1_en-US.incremental.mar *** AUS:SVC Downloader:onStopRequest - downloader: nsIIncrementalDownload, original URI spec: https://cdn.torproject.org/aus1/torbrowser/10.0a1/tor- browser-linux64-9.5a13-10.0a1_en-US.incremental.mar, final URI spec: https://cdn.torproject.org/aus1/torbrowser/10.0a1/tor-browser- linux64-9.5a13-10.0a1_en-US.incremental.mar, status: 2147549183 *** AUS:SVC Downloader:onStopRequest - status: 2147549183, current fail: 0, max fail: 10, retryTimeout: 2000 *** AUS:SVC Downloader:onStopRequest - non-verification failure *** AUS:SVC getStatusTextFromCode - transfer error: Failed (unknown reason), default code: 2152398849 }}} This says that the download of the mar file failed. For whatever reason. I see no way where our patch/backout for #34315 can kick in here. The likely explanation is some network error along the way from your computer to the server hosting the .mar files. Assuming that it is your computer. Just the error message in the description is providing not much context. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/ticket/34365#comment:3> Tor Bug Tracker & Wiki <https://trac.torproject.org/> The Tor Project: anonymity online
