Comment (by mikeperry): This is indeed interesting, and we should keep it in mind when comparing fixed-guard onionperf to no-guard onionperf.. I agree with dennis: I think that arma's 1st hypothesis is the bulk of it. FTR: I don't intend to compare fixed-guard results to no-guard results. That distinction is not relevant to the experiments we have planned. But we should be aware that we would be comparing apples to oranges if we did such a comparison.
