The sentence which begins with “`Other options can be specified either`”
doesn't It should also mention that config-file options need not be
prefixed with “`--`” on the command line.
I would write “`after a # character`” (instead of “`an`”). I would also
put the “`#`” at the end of the preceding line, just in case asciidoc (or
other programs, e.g. Emacs's M-q) treats it specially at the beginning of
a line.
