#6482: Vidalia in alpha TBB doesn't exit immediately when I click exit during
bootstrapping

During various bootstrapping phases, it looks like Vidalia doesn't pay any
attention to my clicking exit until it finishes whatever it was doing.
This is unexpected.
Seems repeatable. Let me know if I should come up with more details.
