nickm: I believe I have addressed all of your concerns in the commit I
just pushed to mikeperry/bug6475. I also increased the log messages to
notice-level and rate limited them.
grarpamp+others: I am still unable to reproduce. Let me know if you would
like a patch to see if this actually prevents the warns.
