Not being terribly familiar with the Tor code, going the #define route was
the easiest as I knew that or.h was included everywhere. I'll take your
advice re src/common/util.[hc] for the next revision of the patch.
For the initial revision I mostly wanted to see that the idea actually
worked, an it seems that it does.
