Ive downloaded the alpha from the page you linked. Im getting exactly the
same problem with the alpha.

This is seeming to me like a problem with the browser itself, i havnt
installed or uninstalled anything recently. Only change has been an
attempt to update Tor by deleting the old and downloading the new.
When looking at the the problem details the fault module is detailed as
the xul.dll, ive got no idea what this is but it would seem something is
having an issue with it.
I am currently using Firefox 16.0.2 as my default browser and im having no
issues with it.
I dont know where to go next with this. Not having Tor to use is a serious
pain.
