You can also notice the ~5 to 10X performance degradation on https

http://dromaeo.com/, and these benchmark sites will also trigger the
popup.
For what it's worth, I can confirm the "~5 to 10X performance degradation"
on http://dromaeo.com/:
* JIT/etc disabled: http://dromaeo.com/?id=221958
* JIT/etc enabled: http://dromaeo.com/?id=221959
I never got the "popup", but with JIT/etc enabled the responsiveness was
noticeably better, although still quite bad.
