Hi zwol. Are you sure about this? I just tried making this tweak...

... and Stem's integ tests pass. I'm not sure if this fixes the issue
where tor seizes up, but tor seems to gracefully handle the closure of
stdout/stderr.
Would someone running into this issue mind giving this change a try?
