And I made a painful braino b/c Gentoo run the test under the package
manager user id and not under root (which is needed for a hardened Gentoo,
which restricts a lot of common functionality to just user root).
Oh well, so my delivered results wrt the resolver functionality (comment
#17) are wrong ...
