Link: https://dl.acm.org/authorize?N666057 Related Internet Draft: https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-olteanu-intarea-socks-6/ One thing about their design for SOCKS 6 is that is has options, and those options could be used to specify some sort of isolation property instead of overloading username/password.
