I have received off-list reminders that using a VPS instead of a dedicated server is an option. Thank you, I am aware of that.
The thing is that I have not (yet?) found a hosting provider with a viable offer in terms of network traffic cost. Using a dedicated server with a flat fee was cheaper for me than any VPS with metered traffic, based on the volume of data node HORUS1 has been moving. I could limit the bandwidth for Tor, but that is not an attractive option.
