-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi All,
In this week I have mostly done some 1) content analysis websites on hidden services, 2) updated Django from the version 1.4 to the version 1.6 and 3) fixed database issues. Fabio Pietrosanti (naif) suggested that 'Ahmia could also "transform" itself, also thanks to the Tor2web integration, in a sort of Tor Hidden Service Observatory.'. It is interesting idea. Related to that, I have been emailing with Carola Frediani who asked if I could analyze the content of the hidden services. I coded a script that tries to fill every field in https://ahmia.fi/address/ just parsing every site's HTML. I gathered all the data and made a simple visualization https://ahmia.fi/static/visuals/content.png. Hopefully this is useful for Carola. Still, it is the best raw estimate of the type of contents that are published on the hidden services. I try to make more data and visualizations available by June 11th when Carola is going to give a speech about the deep (www.sotn.it). Still fixing PostgreSQL spesific database issues. I tried to use SQlite too, but it does not support all the features of Django ORM. Hopefully, I can use the new features of Django 1.6 to handle PostgreSQL middleware issues. I installed PgBouncer, started using 'StreamingHttpResponse' to stream some of the responses and made new Apache WSGI setup. Have a nice weekend everyone!
