-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi all,
This week I went to the Privacy Enhancing Technologies Symposium and talked with many people about the WFPad transport. Some people explicitly told me that it would be great if something like this comes out. During this week I couldn't do much. The previous week I tried to write correctness tests for the primitives and the protocol that passes the arguments and opcodes of these primitives. The tests I had were not enough to test this since they only check the integrity of data (tester.py), and I need more visibility on the contents of the intermediate communications. What I ended up doing is to write a “dummy test transport server”. The client of the transport that I'm testing connects to this test transport server. The server dumps its state and the data that is receiving in a temp folder. Then I load these data and run my tests on it. Now I'm trying to find a simple way to send a request to the SOCKS shim for these tests. I'll contact Yawning to see if can help me with that. I still haven't found why a new PT instance is created for each TCP connection. - -- marc -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.14 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://www.enigmail.net/ iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJTyrMNAAoJEGfJ5xfgazlxE1wIALi6a93kTO47nJAzZmq+JdVE kGYT+byxVGCn+MNNN2OeDSRAzENeYnjuS9m7JO6OSOOpLdtNgZ7SBe2uKNUX0iGC n1mEtj/VD2B74dePO8caBiEVxSb31RvpivhhQYGEVXaSn30W9O9Nsovi+59pJWZm X0MetkLCe6F3vG2N8RXf7MYZAn9vhs3y7gzds6jJqic3AkF78ik5vbIw6RsCK3yN TsrhoSTjG6x5UoSESWm97oybUlhGA+cMgp3KP1tkZmJ+cwrpo8PCFqUja2m4ewMk gmNCdFQx6MbxaMQFSbEInzQ7pmpzrJtIm+qXZA2EH8Hc0c2jakYWXpDcIWzCSx4= =EmuY -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ tor-reports mailing list [email protected] https://lists.torproject.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/tor-reports
