Hi everyone, Done this month: - Resolved 174 tickets on RT. - Rejected 26 spam tickets on RT. - Wrote deployment documentation for pups[1]. - Met with OTF Transifex hub coordinators to discuss Tor Project translations. - Met with Kelley and Karsten regarding Sponsor O. - Worked with Kelley on Sponsor O curriculum content development. - Started recruiting volunteers interested in assisting with curriculum development. - Started writing beamer templates for Sponsor O slides. - Deployed 2 additional private bridges running fte/obfs3. - Worked on Nagios tests for Pups, more on this next month. - Investigated running a grsec-enabled kernel on Tails (little progress made). - Investigated running Tor Browser on FreeBSD (little progress made).
Notes on RT: - iOS users continuing to look for an official Tor solution. - ChromeOS users continuing to look for an official Tor solution. - Increase in users requiring fte/obfs3 bridges on port 80/443. We need more people running these[2][3]. - The new Meek bundle seems to work for many users who may have previously required private bridges. - Users continue to ask about chaining Tor together with a VPN. - Many users asking about using plugins in the Tor Browser.
