Here's a quick summary of progress and status for November for core Tor.

== Guards

We've been working on improvements to our prototype implementation. Progress
has slowed a little as a developer became busy with other activities; we're
expecting this to pick up more over the next month.

== Ed25519

We have deployed a version of the directory improvements in 0.2.7.5, which was
released on November 20[1]. In production, we have found some bugs in the
consensus/voting system used for the new keys, which we're currently working on
resolving. We are also working on user-documentation for operators using the
new keys.

On the protocols, we have the beginnings of an implementation for the link
protocol written on a development branch; those are in progress. When done,
they'll be some of the best-tested Tor patches to date.

== Documentation

No work in November besides improvements and clean-ups to existing
documentation.

== DoS improvements

Some development branch progress has been made; the one for making particularly
for making directory authorities better resist DoS attacks is in progress.
Other work is in the planning stages.
