Hi,
In July, I resumed work on porting the secure updater from Tor Browser to Tor
Messenger. (Tickets related to the updater are #14388 and #13861).

The work on porting the patches was completed in July and we have a working
updater for Tor Messenger. In August, I will be finalizing the changes,
automating the MAR generation process, and testing before making a public
release.
