Hi all, Here's the community team's report for December, which includes some Library Freedom Project highlights:
Tor support portal/user support materials -Finished first draft of the Tor glossary and submitted it to Tor core contributors for feedback -Tor Browser user manual translations close to completion on Transifex -Phoul continues to answer the user support questions that come in through execdir@tpo Outreach -Continued Global South outreach push beginning with Sukhbir in India, now connecting with a few other regions as a pilot program. Secured travel funding for this outreach. -Sukhbir is trying to connect with different orgs in the region (India/South Asia) so if anyone has contacts there, please share! -LFP privacy training for librarians outside of Chicago, Illinois on December 14 -LFP began work with libraries and community organizations on the US-Mexico border -Katie gave a talk on Tor to a group of community activists and software developers in Philadelphia Relay operator support/tshirts -Kat and Jon are working hard to finish the tshirt backlog for relay operators -Since they got started (around the summer), they've sent around 800 tshirts from the backlog! woo hoo! Other -LFP is working on some grants for outreach -Nima started a forum for librarians who've been working with LFP and want to do more to protect privacy in their communities.
