Hi, First, please take Tails -specific questions to the places where the Tails community lives -> https://tails.boum.org/ has pointers to there. If you tried finding that place(s) and failed, I'm curious where you looked, etc., so that we can fix it.

You can install the openssh-server package in it and open the port in the firewall if you wish. This being said, as soon as you tweak the system like so, you're reaching the "unsupported" area and you're more or less on your own. > Perhaps I need to dump the ISO filesystem, make some changes (like > enable sshd, etc.) and then re-make the ISO ? > Any pointers or comments ? I strongly advise against any solution of the "remaster" kind; this kind of fork is a pain to maintain on the long run. The way we manage Tails source and builds makes forking at the source level way much more desirable. This should get you started: https://tails.boum.org/contribute/build/ https://tails.boum.org/contribute/customize/ https://tails.boum.org/contribute/how/code/ Anyway: once we get enough persistence support [0], adding extra packages (that are re-installed at boot time) will be possible. Who knows, maybe you'll contribute back your changes in a way that is generic enough to be merged upstream and maintained by us? Hint, hint. Thank you. FYI, in case it's what you mean by "KVM", you do not need hardware virtualization support to run Tails inside VirtualBox.
