Hi, Yes, this is a known problem. 2.3.25-3 was released in February, but revoked because of an OpenSSL bug that made it crash on systems with AES-NI support.
For some reason, the update check signaled 2.3.25-3 as current version for about 24 hours or so ( https://check.torproject.org/RecommendedTBBVersions ). Should be all good now, with 2.3.25-2 being current (and the new 2.3.25-4 with FF17 in testing). -Moritz On 20.02.2013 17:47, JerryR wrote: > Hi, > > I'm new to this list, thank you all for your work and efforts; I've been > using the TorBrowser for a while now, yesterday I tried to update it > (tor-browser-2.3.25-2_en-US.exe), but, the "There is a security > update...." keeps showing up, I already downloaded it twice, and > couldn't fix it.
