I can't remember clearly now (was too long ago) but I never received any
alarms until I started to get billed. It is certainly working now for
me since I have gone beyond the free tier.
Thanks, Katya. It has been sorted. I contacted Amazon, it was a delay on
their end in activating the billing metric.
