Hi Nio, I have made a Stretch base tarball... but the issue is that installing a PPA is super annoying. You must manually add the key (as you know) and install dirmngr and (etc... I forgot all the hubaloo I had to hack to make it work). So I would be pro moving to Ubuntu again... however if Ubuntu makes moves to fully sync with RHEL (i.e. Wayland as default) using Ubuntu in the future may become harder since JWM/FLTK all use X11... plus the issues you face with mkusb probably will effect things with all our stuff (perhaps). It may be a non-issue. Our build process could "just work" and be completely fine, since we depend on X11 stuff... but the ISO may grow as exponentially as it did in the move to systemd. systemd increased the size by a sizable portion and if there are random rouge Wayland deps in every GTK+ app we will probably be looking at DVD ONLY soon like everyone else. We will have to wait and see, and see if Debian fixes their silly PPA issue (i.e breaking add-apt-repository) -- Regards -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~torios-dev Post to : torios-dev@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~torios-dev More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
