On the plus side I almost have a working torios-core package! Hurray!! I think this may also make adding users very simple.... I added a lot of items to /etc/skel so as long as useradd works in the way I think it should the contents of /etc/skel should populate the new user's $HOME If this all works, we can ship ToriOS in OEM mode (as Nio has suggested) so the user can configure it to their locale, timezone and username/password. This would GREATLY simplify things for the user and us! There are a few things I still need to work out but I think I will make a few packages there, like torios-core torios-live and maybe others. I'll keep you updated, but if anyone is interested in my first attempt at this, you can check it on launchpad. https://code.launchpad.net/~israeldahl/torios/trunk I do not advise installing the PPA on a non-ToriOS machine... as it will populate new users with our xinitrc and other things :) Some of this will eventually go away once things get tightened up and finished. Also... I am making progress on the pcmanfm version of the ISO I got it trimmed down another 40 MB so it is getting close to CD size again!
