The rsync on the m2 repository works fine.

Same goes for the RC1 files in the plugins directory
The reason why I sent the request to synchronize the first place was
because of the docs at
http://www.apache.org/dev/repository-faq.html#rsyncs
which says
The m1 rsync repository syncs automatically, while the m2 rsync
repository is currently synched upon request to the repository mailing list.
Perhaps you want to change that.
