If I uninstall 0.5 then reinstall 0.4.1 all icons are shown. My upgrade from 0.4.1 followed this sequence - install 0.5 (overwrite = trouble) - uninstall 0.5 (this left TortoiseHg folder empty) - install 0.4.1 again (everything works) - uninstall 0.4.1 - install 0.5 (problem as described) OS: WinXP professional SP2 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Peer Sommerlund (peso) Date: 2008-10-11 04:34 Message: I suspect that my system was in an inconsistent state due to a number of packages being installed, some in a way that intentionally tried to provoke an installation error. In the end I uninstalled THG, TBZR, Python and all python packages. I also had to manually fix a confused registry caused by a mixture of binary- and source-installations of THG. To get a clean system I ran uninstall 0.5, install 0.4.1, uninstall 0.4.1.
