Relative to the previous version of the patch I removed
self.pathtree.get_selection().connect("changed", self._pathtree_changed)
and the related function. This fixed the problem that Remove only worked
once.
Before this change I found a strange workaround where you moved the mouse
cursor away from the button and back again (no clicking) would allow you to
click one more time on remove.

This patch was developed on Windows XP SP3 with PyGTK 2.10.4 and GTK
2.10.13.
It seems that this patch would bennefit from more testing before it is
integrated. To make it easier to see the changes I have set up a patch
repository.
