I'm not sure I understand what you mean. I'm not aware of a vector image for
the TSVN icons. As far as I know they only exist as 16x16 images.

I agree that the different resolution images should be as close as possible.
This is violated by me only designing a 32x32 icon.

I have been reluctant to provide 16x16 image - one reason is the defect that
makes 16x16 dialog icons be a scaled version of the 32x32 icon. Thus the
only place where the 16x16 image is used is in the context menu.

I try to make all vector images look close to the TSVN icons, but there is a
change of looks and colours. I'm trying to follow the Tango Icon Theme
Guideles, which has a palette that is less saturated than the TSVN icons.

The cylinder is the exact same cylinder used for the other svg images. Can
you describe in more detail the change you would like to see?

For inspiration, the tango icon theme [2] uses a gradient circle instead of
a star.
