Do you mean to support shelve even when not in the commit dialog? >> What if we had a TortoiseHG gui interface to shelve? I was thinking the log viewer, since that is often used to change the parent of the working directory. In fact, though I understand the underlying philosophy, I still find it very weird that I can start a merge in the log viewer, but then I have to switch to the commit window to finish it. I had hoped the GSoC Unification work would have addressed that, but I don't remember. I only mention this because in my group I've got a lot of grumbling about the lack of shelve support in a the GUIs, and since the log viewer does "checkout" (i.e. 'update' on the command line) and thus has to support '-C', it is easy to lose changes. So I am glad that shelve support is getting some attention too. BTW: I suppose I might be the last one to figure this out, but I've just recently realized that if I move the .hg/shelve file, I can have multiple shelved changes at once, but I just have to manage them manually. --Doug ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace.
