My configuration only have:

$ cat .hgrc
[ui]
username=Germán Póo-Caamaño <[email protected]>

[extensions]
hgk=
hgext.mq =

[diff]
git = 1

[email]
from = Germán Póo-Caamaño <[email protected]>
method = smtp

[smtp]
tls = True
host = smtp.gmail.com
port = 587
username = [email protected]

It seems patchbomb encodes the content if there is some non 7bit
character present. At least, there are 3 non 7bit characters present in
the HG header (my name).

On the other hand, you can pull the changeset from
http://bitbucket.org/gpoo/thg-crew-gpoo/changeset/b61d02380df4/
