  This is a problem in the way the mercurial's patch engine generates diffs.  
It always generates diffs against the native (unfiltered) repository contents 
so those diffs will be consistent with what's checked in.

The problem for us is that those diffs will not apply to the filtered working 
copy.  The solution for this is probably to teach mercurial.patch.applydiff() 
about working directory filters, but this is not in the scope for 0.7.1.  We'll 
have to live with this for now.

If you must use win32text filters, you cannot use the shelve tool and you 
cannot use change selection within the commit tool (you can select files but 
not hunks).  And you cannot use MQ.  None of these problems is unique to 
TortoiseHg, the shelve and record and MQ extensions have always been broken by 
win32text.  It's just that we have made these patching features more commonly 
used.
