After reading the links posted by Douglas I felt that describing personas
and use cases for tortoisehg would be a good first step. These could be the
basis for GUI redesign or the structure of a manual.
I suspect that TK may have some of these in the help pages he is working on.
Although I'm certanly not a GUI expert, I could write a few lines of text.
