Steve Borho / sborho on Wed, 18 Mar 2009 16:22:15 +0100: Comment: I'm leaning towards tying the sync tool with the changelog browser, making it launchable from the toolbar. Combine that with making commit launchable from the merge dialog, simplify the merge process to two clicks, and I think the workflow will be improved. You end up with something like this: * launch changelog * press 'pull' button from changelog toolbar to launch sync tool in pull mode, pull then exit * select merge candidate in changelog, start merge by cmenu->merge with, then click 'merge' in merge tool * after merge. press 'commit' in merge toolbar (closes merge dialog) * after commit, close commit tool and you're left with changelog where you now see the new merge commit * press 'push' button from changelog toolbar to launch sync tool in push mode (preselects default-push) Merging all these tools into one app is beyond the scope of 0.8 Changes: status: new -> open -- This is an issue notification from bitbucket.org.
