Issue 128: hgproc.exe crashes when annotating files http://bitbucket.org/tortoisehg/stable/issue/128/hgprocexe-crashes-when-annotating-files
Steve Borho / sborho on Wed, 25 Mar 2009 20:22:50 +0100: Comment: That's particularly bad. The error message is coming from inside GTK itself. According to Google, it doesn't look like it's normally a fatal problem, though. Did that start at version 0.7 or 0.7.1? If it started in 0.7, this is probably related to issue #101. Do you have an Intel GPU? If it is #101, then some of the dialogs should be safe, like 'about' and 'sync'. If it started in 0.7.1, then the crash was probably caused by the GTK update. THG isn't doing anything nearly interesting enough to cause a system lockup. This must be some bad interaction between your video driver and GTK.
