Makes sense.

Once 0.8 is released, yes.  A lot of the old instructions should go
away.  We should steer people to uses packages when available, else
the symlink method.

I won't mind if this happens a week early if there is a note added to
the top of the page indicating it is describing version 0.8.  I'm
going to be updating a slew of wiki pages in a similar fashion this
week.
