I want this. Please apply it. We could use it until we have something better in place and is working. I agree with doing Steve's idea. I have a bit strange feelings though that we need to put that much logic on top of mercurial, but this is probably not the fault of TortoiseHg. And TortoiseHg is in the lucky position of being able to do it. Thanks to the interactive userinterface. Maybe mercurial has just too many constraints to fulfill (command line backwards compatibility) so it is harder to improve there.
