This is just plain silly. > Yes, I read what you wrote, but wondered about the current state of the > build system as I, as you may or may not know, don't use the installer > builder the rest of you use (yet). But no worries, I can find those > things out myself. > Again: Yes, I still use the nmake file (like I already wrote in my initial posting), but I get compile errors when trying to build the 64 bit target using the cross-compiler and linker installed by Visual C++ 2005 Pro on Windows XP 32 bit. Which is most likely not the problem of the nmake file. I always used the nmake file for this. It used to work, until Steve pulled in the new changes for the context menu icon drawing. The Express C++ 2008 edition (which I DO have because it is gratis) installed on Windows XP 32 bit is still able to compile and link the 32 bit target, but NOT the 64 bit target. I don't have Visual C++ 2008 Standard (or Pro). Unfortunately. Which I suppose would be able to build the 64 bit target using the current tip of the default branch. That's why I used to use the Visual C++ 2005 Pro cross compiler+linker for the 64 bit target. But that doesn't work any more. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Let Crystal Reports handle the reporting - Free Crystal Reports 2008 30-Day trial.
