Hi, This is a request that a consistent policy be set regarding the presence or absence of the built documentation (i.e. doc/build/) in the released tarballs.
For the previous few releases, it has flipflopped multiple times: 0.8: absent 0.9: present 0.9.1 through 0.9.3: absent 1.0: present 1.0.1: absent My personal opinion is that build results should not be shipped in the tarball, to avoid inflating the download size. Either way, its easier on packagers if this doesn't oscillate from release to release. Max.
