Why not just add them to the .hgignore file?  Then thg won't show them at
all.  Even if you don't want to permanently ignore them, you'll just have
the one modified .hgignore file.  If you uncheck it, then use the thg
refresh button it will remain unchecked for the duration of you thg session.

IMO, it seems to be a bad idea to have an ignore list for the DVCS _and_ for
the GUI.
