Is there any way to install TortoiseHg but disable the Explorer shell
extension? Or at *LEAST* the icons?

Most of my repositories are mounted from a network drive, and it's
frustrating waiting for TortoiseHg to pull down and process the .hg
directory, and so the shell extension is becoming more of a pain than
its worth. It's nice having the CONTEXT menu, but I think waiting for
the icons to load is unbearable.

So... is there a *sanctioned* way to disable the shell extension while
leaving the rest of TortoiseHg installed? Better yet... is there a way
to disable the icons from loading while still leaving the context menu
intact?

Thanks --
Ted
