The instructions indicate: "If you prefer the previous (<=0.7) behavior of directly launching your visual diff tool, then you can recover that behavior via the user settings dialog and TortoiseHg->Skip Diff Window."
I tried the Skip Diff Window set to "True" for both Global settings and the Repository settings. It seems to have no effect on the behavior. I continue to get the new file list window. Is there anything that could be preventing this setting from taking effect? An artifact from a previous install perhaps? -----Original Message----- From: Steve Borho [mailto:st...@borho.org] Sent: Friday, July 17, 2009 1:02 PM To: Kiscaden, Mike Cc: tortoisehg-discuss@lists.sourceforge.net Subject: Re: [thg] Directory Diff in TortoiseHg .8 On Fri, Jul 17, 2009 at 10:47 AM, Kiscaden, Mike<mike.kisca...@teamquest.com> wrote: > Greetings, > > I understand that in TortoiseHg .8, a new feature was added so that when the > user opens the "Visual Diff" menu, they are shown a list of files, to > support users who use a diff tool that does not support directory diffs.
