Doesn't appear related to the given issue - I'm on XP and I don't
have such folder nor I have found EXE or DLL or ZIP files in the
profile specific TortoiseHg folder.

The problem appeared to be few extension entries I have in my .hgrc.
Their *.py files have been modified to include my Python 2.5
installation libraries as hinted here:

http://bitbucket.org/tortoisehg/stable/wiki/FAQ#where-do-tortoisehg-extensions-look-for-external-python-modules-on-windows

I guess I need to install Python 2.6 as TortoiseHg 1.0 is bundled
with it instead of Python 2.5. May be it is worth mentioning this
specific issue in the release notes, if not already.
