I'm unable to reproduce the error using TortoiseHg cset 87cbe6d91194 (Qt
version from 2010-dec-12)

Could you tell some more about which version of TortoiseHg you are using,
and how your environment is set up?

The traceback says TortoiseHg 1.1.7, but this version does not contain
tortoisehg/hgqt/run.py
and your traceback shows that you are executing Qt files from a script
named /home/nbecker/scma-ldpc-lbd/test

I'm not familiar with running TortoiseHg from site-packages under Unix, but
I suspect that you are not running on a clean version.

Maybe you could try to clean your site-packages from TortoiseHg code, and
then run directly from a TortoiseHg repository using the cset mentioned
above?

Regards,
Peer
