Subject: how to use tortousehg to point to multiple repositories
I've got two different hg repositories (bitbucket and git) and want to
sync to both of them (not at the same time).
How to I setup tortoisehg to do this? I currently have just one
repository and can't figure out the workflow to be able to sync to both.
[Boggess, Rod] From inside the Workbench, click the synchronize button
(ying-yang arrows). Mid-center is the Remote Repository Textbox and a
Repository Protocol Dropdown. Configure your remote connections there
and provide alias names. If you use the special name "default", then you
will connect to that remote repository for synchronization whenever you
click the push or pull buttons without coming to this screen to choose
which remote repository you want to synchronize with, but default is
just a convenience - it does nothing new.
You should post these questions to the TortoiseHg discussion group at
[email protected]. Feel free to subscribe
(regrettably, I don't have the subscription address handy).
