I just wanted to provide more information here: I'm using a VM with apache2, ubuntu 17, mysql, and a SVN repo set up through Phabricator. All functions worked properly until I set things up for HTTPS. That's when I started having issues Diffing previous versions from the repo through TortoiseSVN. I'm still able to Diff through Phabricator, its just on TortoiseSVN that things hang up. If I try to call previous versions through the Repo browser, the same thing happens--my mouse icon changes to indicate something is happening and then returns to normal. I have to end the TortoisePlink process. After that a file transfer window comes up but it just hangs indefinitely until I end that through the task manager.
I'm not convinced that Tortoise is at fault here, so maybe this is not the best place to ask any of this. I'm just trying to find a log or something that indicates where the hangup is. I didn't know a thing about any of this 2 weeks ago (still don't really know much) so it could be something extremely obvious. Anyway, if anyone is willing to help,I would be happy to send some compensation your way via PayPal or Bitcoin (if that floats your boat).
