>From File Explorer, right-click on a folder under version control and
choose Show Log.

Click the arrow next to Show All and choose Show Range... Notice that
Start Revision defaults to the last revision, and End Revision defaults to
0. (symptom 1)

Type a low revision in Start Revision and a higher revision in End Revision
and click OK. Log window shows the requested range of revisions.

Click "Show Range..." again and see that the numbers you typed appear in
the opposite fields. (symptom 2).

I started out writing this thinking this was a problem of internal values
being restored to the wrong form fields, but now I'm not so sure. I tested
placing the big revision in Start and small revision in End, and it kept
them where they are. Is "Start Revision" implicitly the most recent
revision? It wasn't clear from the docs (I hit F1 from the dialog).

If Start Revision is supposed to be the biggest/most recent rev, then I
think this is a docs bug. If Start Revision is meant to be the
smallest/oldest rev, then I think it's a behavior bug. In either case, the
window is showing the correct range of revisions, so I think it's not
critical.

Thanks for your continued support of this product. I and my team depend on
it daily.
