We've got a couple POSSEs starting to come down the planning pipeline, so defining that pipeline has suddenly become extremely important - which is fantastic, and exactly what I'd hoped; by building POSSE planning tools as POSSE planners need them, we end up with exactly the tools that POSSE planners need.
(We also end up with a lot of mad scrambling, but I'm hoping to be able to take on as much of that as possible so POSSE planners can plan POSSEs. For those planning POSSEs - *thank you* for your patience and willingness to build this program with us! It's pretty amazing how far we've come in 4.5 months.) I'll be sprinting on this page in #teachingopensource tomorrow morning, 1430-1630 UTC (930-1130 in my personal default timezone of EST): http://teachingopensource.org/index.php/HOWTO_plan_a_POSSE. I know it's short notice, and holiday season for a lot of us, so I totally expect to be sprinting solo on this, but thought transparency would be a good idea (and also if people do have comments/thoughts/suggestions and/or want to join in, that'd be rockin'). I'll make sure to incorporate any responses to this thread into the page as the first thing-to-do on Tuesday when the sprinting starts, so... dump feedback and ideas this-a-way. --Mel PS: It's kinda like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L2zqTYgcpfg _______________________________________________ tos mailing list [email protected] http://teachingopensource.org/mailman/listinfo/tos
