Hi Ralph,

1) Yes, we are submitting a collection of individual proposals.
We are hoping that OSCON will put them together in a
    common track.

2) Yes, please go ahead and submit that proposal.
"Teaching FOSS To Undergraduates" sounds fine
     as a title to me.

3) You mention the "Education" track in the "tags" at the
     end of the submission form.

See the instructions on the Submission process:
http://teachingopensource.org/index.php/OSCON_2010#Submission_Process

Namely:

    * IMPORTANT: In "Additional notes" write that you want to be part
of the TeachingOpenSource.org Education track proposal.
    * IMPORTANT: Write in a link to this page:
http://teachingopensource.org/index.php/OSCON_2010#Track_proposal

4) Since we know that IBM will participate, but we don't have
a specific name yet, I would suggest to mention that in the
field: "Additional Notes ", where we are allowed to include
"Any other information you wish the organizer to know?"
That is, you should mention that we have confirmed participation
from IBM, but that the speaker is to be defined.

5) Once you fill up the submission form at the OSCON site:
http://en.oreilly.com/oscon2010/user/proposal/propose/cfp/92

you are allowed to review it (and modify it) until February 1st
      (tomorrow) at noon EST.

Thanks for putting this proposal together.

      Luis
