Forgive my late entry into this thread. Since I live and breath Linux and FOSS all week, I try not to read email on weekends. First off, Greg's suggestion that someone should have College level teaching experience would block me, and puts others like me out of the running before POSSE picks up steam. Although I've been helping RIT learn FOSS development Techniques for the past year and providing a case study/Pilot for TOS if we go with a strict interpretation of the teaching requirement, I don't even make it to the short list. Second, this should be taken as a devils advocate point of view. As a business owner, Mother of two etc, time distance and funds are always considerations for me. It's not that easy for me to make a commitment with so many irons in the fire. ~Karlie _______________________________________________ tos mailing list tos@teachingopensource.org http://teachingopensource.org/mailman/listinfo/tos
