I'm working my way through updating everyone on the status of all individual POSSE efforts, so I thought I'd start with the far-off time horizon (since it's easiest to write ;).
http://teachingopensource.org/index.php/Tentative_POSSEs is the list of tentative POSSEs. (Also linked to from the main POSSE page, http://teachingopensource.org/index.php/POSSE#Tentative_POSSEs.) I'm copying individuals listed as organizers for tentative POSSEs, but all further discussions will take place on http://teachingopensource.org/mailman/listinfo/tos. The sessions on this list have *not* yet been approved as POSSE events. Each session has as an official POSSE event, and the bullet points in the section for your particular POSSE will point out the remaining pieces that you need to fill in to get approval. http://teachingopensource.org/index.php/HOWTO_plan_a_POSSE#The_short_version explains what each of the sections mean. Our original deadline for filling in these details is June 1, 2010 for POSSEs that want to run between Sep 02 - Dec 01. June 1st is coming up fast; if you think you need to work out a different deadline for your POSSE arrangements, let me know. Next: updates on this summer's confirmed POSSEs. --Mel _______________________________________________ tos mailing list [email protected] http://teachingopensource.org/mailman/listinfo/tos
