Jeff and all: As a first and soonest idea, I'd like to setup some forums for Teaching Open Source (TOS) discussions. In particular, we need a place for feedback and discussion around the textbook[1]; but we should have it be open for any threads, in my opinion.
My idea is that we can setup the forums before we worry about moving
any other existing teachingopensource.org (tos.org for short)
services to OSUOSL.
1. Configure existing DNS to point forums.teachingopensource.org at an
OSUOSL IP address.
2. OSUOSL configures forum (PHPBB?) for that domain, using TOS logo.
Those are broad-stroke steps, but do they capture all needed?
Jeff - how do we best engage with you all about IT planning?

[1] We are also going to setup a forum for OSU as part of their
student-specific, on campus tool beaversource.oregonstate.edu -
this is unusual for FOSS but a student-safe sandbox is a specific
method of the academic way :) so we need to go to the mountain in
this case to get the most and best interactions, then merge it
ourselves back to the main forum and wiki.
